I had planned on making a really cool slideshow video or a badass collage of movie clips to go along with this song, which is a very hard to find piece of music from the soundtrack to RAMBO III (a song entitled "The Bridge", performed by Giorgio Moroder and sung by Joe Pizullo), but my pain-in-the-ass Windows Movie Maker program wouldn't allow that to happen whatsoever. So I was stuck with just uploading only audio and a single picture to fill the screen. This song was not used in the movie, and it appeared only on the out-of-print Scotti Bros. 10-track release of the movie soundtrack.

  • I found it on some ...

I found it on some blogger's website (he had a bunch of old out-of-print soundtrack albums posted there for download), but I just looked and apparently it's been removed. This song is nearly impossible to find anywhere -- I just happened to get lucky enough to find it while it was there (stumbled onto it, basically). It's a shame how the music industry inexplicably tries to keep good music (like this song) out of people's hands while at the same time forcing crappy music onto our youth.

Hey, thanks a lot -- I'll look into that. I've been having so much trouble fighting with the movie maker program that I would like something more reliable. Big thanks!

  • Easier option, ...

Easier option, which turned out to be quite a lot of fun for me, was to get hold of a copy of Flash which supports audio and video (no programming experiend needed!), put it onto a timeline and see you production come together. You can do even more than fading audio into your pictures or even video clips - you can do almost anything you want!!

Worthwhile getting hold of a copy, even if it's for free ;-)

Hope that helps you - and any other reading this dude :-)

  • Yeah. I just use ...

Yeah. I just use the Windows Movie Maker program (it's easy, but likes to crash often). Anyway, you just import an audio track, import a photo, and then just drag both into the storyboard or timeline at the bottom of the page, then add any fade in/fade out effects you want, then save. That's pretty much it. Hope that helps.
