China Beijing 2008 Olympic Games Song "Forever Friends永远的朋友"

I really like it. It really encapsulate a lot and people do meet lifelong friends on journeys such as this one. I wish all the athletes best of luck and do their countries proud.

Well Jasonjia, you and I really have differing tastes in music. I think "Forever Friends" doesn't do the Beijing Olympics justice, and that "Welcome to Beijing" saves the day a little. The melody for "Forever Friends" is very lame and could've been much better...no lyric can save a poor melody.

i have to sing this song in our assembly this friday and this makes me cry....

I love this song better than "Welcome to Beijing" somehow.

It is not that attractive like "Hand in Hand" in 1988 Seoul Olympic, but this is still good. Actually, this is an excellent and perfect song for 2008 Olympic. I like it.

yea but this is not bad at all, it has traditional Chinese melody and the spirit of the Olympic, it might doesn't sound as passionate as "Hand in Hand", but this song is strong in another way, it has more love, peace and humanity meaning in it.
