Veru good to see the Japanese introduction to Voltron. I guess the music in the American intro. is either from a later season of Voltron, or is an American creation. But either way it waa good too.

It looks like the same kind of talking intro-talking-type-thing explaining the show that was in the USA Voltron intro.

what was going on in the beginning of the Voltron intro? There seemed to be some sort of prequel robot fight? anybody know?

most of the early Battletech mechs were lifted entirely from anime. The wasp, stinger, phoenix hawk, crusader, and marauder mechs are straight from robotech/macross, and just about all of the original mechs were taken from it, in the first box set.

Through out the entire video, i started to realize that im old because i remembered almost all of the opening since trider.

Hmmm..I have seen some Crusher Joe but not one with a "Locust" like mech. I will have to check into that thanks for correcting me. I should have left the "only" out of my statement.
