Rolling Stones - Not fade away 1964

I wanna tell you how it's gonna be
You're gonna give your love to me
I'm gonna love you night and day
Well you know my love and not fade away
Well you know my love and not fade away

And my love is bigger than a Cadillac
I'll try to show it if you drive me back
Your love for me has got to be real
Before you'd have noticed how I feel
Love real not fade away
Well love real not fade away

(Instrumental)

I wanna tell you how it's gonna be
You're gonna give your love to me
Love that lasts more than one day
Well love is love and not fade away
Well love is love and not fade away
Well love is love and not fade away

(Instrumental)

  • The world was much ...

The world was much smaller in the early 60's, Briish bands played number from singles brought over by sailors, until one day the Beatles were due to appear and the earlier bands had played all their numbers, o they tarted writing for themselves.
As regards this, it's a great example of how a band can take a number and make it their own.
