maybe if you opened your eyes and tried to look further than your nose you might just find some decent music - because there's plenty out there. (by the way MTV and commercial radio DO NOT count as further than your nose)

this seems like one of those bands where you have to be there to apreciate the live shows, making live recordings pointless

Once you see them live the CD's are never the same

Oh well, can't please everybody... I do like these guys, though...There is SOME music that comes out these days that is palatable, but I find that to be few and far between. I'm an old metalhead for the most part, but I always try to keep an empty cup, so to speak. I guess this dates me a little, but, the music that came out in the 70's, and mid to late 80's was some good S**t ...

yeah tmv sounds better on the cd coz their stuff is so complex its really hard to keep together live, and they do it surprisngly good.

True, there are a shitload of incredible guitarists on this shitty rock. Jimi was an icon in the six string world, but there are too many other legends to list without taking up the next several screens...

oh... it kind of depicts every rock band... mostly classic rock bands though. idk who said it depicts this band but it def. makes fun of the beatles and the stones and led zeppelin and stuff. its pretty much the funniest movie i've ever seen. and watch it twice at the least.

at the drive-in was their original they used to tour texas non stop

its obvious that it isn't mars volta otherwise letterman would've introduced them as mars volta but i recognised the singer n guitarist from volta and i just didn't know which came first volta or drive in.
