By mileysux445 [Affiliate User] 1233173204It's possible but you won't get it.
Out of the many times I've sang with a cold, I've gotten laryngitis once.
Don't be embarrassed at all, its your instrument and you should build it and refine it. Always switch into your head voice on high notes and work on the bridge with portamento(siren) exercises and lip rolls, and then some nay nay nay arpeggios. And this guys tips are good, its using a little vocal fry to get into your head voice which can help some people, great tip i must say.
By aboxguitar [Affiliate User] 1233110586if singing higher notes hurts stop, relax and use your head voice or falsetto until you can bridge and get a mix voice properly. Using your head voice is proper vocal technique and causes no damage, bringing your chest voice up is why it hurts you and that can cause long term damage if you do it to the point of stress.
By aboxguitar [Affiliate User] 1233110465Hey, me and my band do covers of mainly pop punk music where the singing is really high pitch. Look up All Time Low - Shameless and give me some pointers on how i can hit those notes easier and better. I have no problem with low notes, but i can only stay on key until those higher notes come.
By guitarhere0 [Affiliate User] 1233099644do NOT i repeat, DO NOT sing with a cold!! you will get larengitis. and believe me, it's not good. you wont be able to talk. either that or you'll damage your voice permenantly and not be able to sing at all.
By thesaintsarecomin [Affiliate User] 1233076341Hi! Your doing a great work. =)
I have really enjoyed traning to your singing lessons. If range would go up to 10. 10 = high 1 = low. My voice is 6 to 2. Singing higher notes cinda hurts ( and i sing with my head). I want to learn sing higher notes. What should i do to improve singer higher notes? Should I just force my muscles to catch higher notes if it hurts? Should I maybe sing one note higher and then slowly continue to a higher? Again thanks for putting up great vids!
