Kevon Edmonds - Oh - New Single From Who Knew Album (October 13)

If you're in the northeast, I def recommend you check out Roselle, NJ for shows. I drove an hour and a half for the show, but dang, it's an intimate setting and they get GREAT acts for free.

At this show, they had Kevon and Full Force, both of whom I had the opportunity to talk with (Full Force was signing autographs/doing pictures).

I heard last year they had Howard Hewett and Regina Bell.

He's real chill and like you, I've always been a big fan. I interviewed Keith Mitchell six months ago and hoped to talk to Kevon but never had the chance. Then I go to his show and he's just walking around haha.

He was real laid back and friendly. He was cracking jokes as he did sound checks and was real relaxed. His speech carries some of his distinct sound and he didn't show any grief about me coming up, though in retrospect, I sounded like a doof (it was a spur of the moment decision haha)

Please do! I'm so jealous you got to meet him. What's he like in person? I'm not really fazed by celebrities but I've always been a fan of his.

I wish Kevon would get more coverage for it (and that I would have thought to record the whole thing). I couldn't find it anywhere on the net... which is both impressive, and terrible news for a new single.

I talked to him before the show and gave him my contact information to hopefully do some promotion for him but I haven't heard from him yet.

I'll let you know if I hear more from him on the album!
