    Looks like these guys fight "for real" and hit with full strength. You can't expect techniques to be performed with 100% accuracy in an all out brawling, so it's reasonable that they'll slip, fall and miss quite often, what I don't understand is why are they banding forward while in fighting stance? isn't it weakening the stance and making them more vulnerable?

    is true but the prob is BJJ is that you can only deal with 1 person effectively the bueaty of many styles of karate is dealing with many opponents but i would advise cross training to gain many aspects on combat

    I see your point and it is valid up to a point, but in a real situation these strikers would be hitting a lot harder and to more varied targets.

    Also, I am not sure about Uechi-ryu, but some styles of Okinawan karate do train some grappling.
