How To: Jailbreak with Redsn0w 0.7.2 .8 for Iphone 2g / 3g / Itouch - Help with Problems Intalling

Once you download that. Make sure you do a fresh restore/install from itunes directly to your iphone of the 3.0 software update. You may need to even create a user in windows. Then do a fresh restore from there.

Then load redsn0w 0.7.2 or latest version. Once its up its going to ask for your .ipsw file.

Heres where I got mine on Windows Vista 32-Bit

I also found it at App Data. So it may also be that depending on your computer or os version. Theres also a lot of google support on where to find it if that doesnt help. Just search "where to find .ipsw file [your os]"

From there you let it load , plug in your iphone , then shut it off. Wait for everything and the little spinning circle to go away and go completely dark. Then goto the count down timer. Hold down the power button for 3 seconds. Then the power and home button and continue to follow the instructions exactly as posted on redsn0w. If your lucky it will work perfect and you wont need to do my trick. My video just shows the second way to do this.

Run a second version of redsn0w if it hangs on the reboot. This will get everything going and you will be just fine.

Finally it was say rebooting device and you shouldnt see emergency mode anymore as well will see cydia or icy installed.

Then for T-Mobile or anything but ATT users goto cydia. Update it , then goto sources , edit , then hit add and enter in repo666.ultrasn0w.com , be sure to make the sn0w a zero...not the upper case letter o.

Be sure to be on wifi...so set that up if need be or be in the area for that.

From there it will install off of wifi and just power down your device and restart. Youll see loading and tada youll now see T-Mobile or your mobile provider show up.

No more turbo-sim's or old software. Enjoy and be sure to watch out for any updates from Apple through itunes. Do not update until dev-team gives us the go ahead. They are predicting that apple will close the unlock loophole within the next update.
