Cracking Windows Vista Passwords with Ophcrack And Cain

what version are you using??? and when i start orphcrack it asks for 3 options to find hashes what do i doo?? also how do i find the files i need???

does ophcrack has virus or stuff like that that gonna kill the computer? or sum1 gonna find out that i used ophcrack?

i did that but whenev it loads it says frequency out of range and i dont know wat to do can sum 1 help

you must download "live cd version" that is bootable, other versions are to work inside OS (when OS is working already- like when you have other user permissions), but you also need to set CD as "master bood device" in BIOS.

is something wrong with this 3.0 version? because i downloaded it and burned it 3 times from the official website and its all the same.

i notice in your video it starts up and some windows pop up right away like the ones from the regular operating system... XP... vista.. etc...
when i do it.. it starts up... then goes to a Black or Brownish Screen (my monitor is crap so its probably back lol) with a tool bar at the bottom but it does nothing.

Ok, i can't get this to work at all, i bought a pc from a pawnshop for $50... its a new pc too, but the reason it was so cheap was because they didn't know the password, so the sold it "As Is" to me, i can crack an XP PW like nothing, but this vista crap is kicking my ass, i downloaded the live cd of ophcrack 3.0 for vista, it starts up, but then it gets to a plain brown screen with a useless toolbar in the bottom with some wierd options, i noticed in ur video u get some windows from the start.
