Is it fair to say that anyone who is a staunch conservative on a Presidential ticket is deemed an idiot by the Left and NY/Washington media establishment? That seems to be the case over my entire lifetime. It would be nice if we could get to a point where the two parties could have ideological discussions without injecting a sense of elitism or superiority into the debate. When we're talking about accomplished 45-50 year olds I think a discussion of college education and grades is beyond silly.

I don't understand this double standard. There is footage on youtube from last week of Joe Biden telling someone at a rally that Obama will not support coal production and that they are against it. Biden also came out against the AIG bailout which Obama supported. The media did not care and did not see it as an indication that Biden is unqualified. We saw the same attacks against Ford, Reagan, Quayle, Bush, and now Palin. Can the Left find an original way to attack Republicans?

Palin is a joke and its sad to see that they got almost half of America supporting them. We are heading another depression and can we count on this dumb bitch with a 5th grade education to pull us out of it....
