This is from The Feynman Lectures on Physics given in 1961 at Caltech. I highly recommend this lecture series. While not all of it is understandable to the lay person, much of it is. Richard Feynman was an inspirational teacher and could illuminate many esoteric concepts in physics with his contagious enthusiasm. Here you are mjrtom999! Enjoy.

I just went to your channel and it seems you've already seen the talk I posted (Lennybound has posted it, too).

Dan Dennett is one of my favourite philosophers. I just finished his book 'Kinds of Minds' and am currently reading 'Consciousness Explained'. I have a radio show of his where he chats with Richard Rorty. I might post that soon if I have time.
    Thanks for commenting.

Oh wow. You've got stuff on Ramachandran too? I just recently discovered him. Yeah, he's another jewel just like Dennett. I'll check it out as well.

I didn't know Feynman had synesthesia. That makes sense though. He was just brilliant.

I enjoy the way he talks, too. He was certainly one of the brightest men of the 20th century. He had a condition called 'synesthesia' which involved him associating various colors with things like tones and numbers. If you want to know more about synesthesia, you can check out a series of videos by V.S. Ramachandran on my channel.

I love how Feynman talks. How his voice pitch goes from a very excited high tone and then starts to dig down the undertones, in the low region.

Awesomeness! So many many thanks! This gives all us teachers out there an ideal to shoot for in how we can express abstract ideas in a coherent way.

Yeah. I selected them with just a google image search. I think I'll get Vegas and try something a bit more challenging (and hopefully less amateurish!)
