Aw this is so sad. The bird's feathers are all ragged and he's begging the woman to go back to his cage. He really needed a break instead of being in that place for most of his life!

Alex looks ragged because he was rescued. Most likely from being abused, when parrots are lonely or angry, they pluck out their feathers. If you go to a rescue facility like The Gabriel Foundation, there are a bunch of poor birds like this one that need homes.
