By mataca23 [Affiliate User] 1202245795 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removein a sense yes, but also, like you stated earlier NOS has more of a tendency to blow your engine alot quicker than forced induction will. But again it's all in what you prefer to have on your car. But I prefer forced induction over NOS simply because of the fact that turbos don't have a tendency to blow up your engine. But if someone wants NOS over forced induction, hey that's their preference and I say go for it.
By philbrownell05 [Affiliate User] 1201737868 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveVery good dood i couldent of sayd it better my self...Honestly i couldent lol. And dont forget that also because of that if you use to many shots of NOZ or something you can blow your engin and trust you dont want that to happen when you have a couple thousand dollers in it lol.
By Pigioto1 [Affiliate User] 1201719876 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveUm ya i gues what he sayd lol.
By Pigioto1 [Affiliate User] 1201719797 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveUm yes i ges. But also look at this way, You have a supercharger or a turbo but you still need more power then you get the NOZ. Its like the cherry to the top of the Sunday lol.
By Pigioto1 [Affiliate User] 1201719775 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYou're right about that. Cause like I mentioned before you have to know what you're doing to tune a turbo/blower to get the maximum performance out of it, hence not fore beginners. So again all mods have their place depending on the level of knowledge the driver has about the mod and the level of knowledge of his car. I also agree good debate. It's nice to intelligently argue with someone on youtube and not have to start calling names and cussing to try and prove our points.
By philbrownell05 [Affiliate User] 1201383515 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveActually I am a twin screw man, but I think all the different methods have their place. NOS is great for people that are just getting into mods and don't have a lot of money to spend, but after a while they will want to move to a turbo or blower and learn more about their car. Great debate.
By dlowrie290 [Affiliate User] 1201383076 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYea but if you look at it, your paying more, but you never have to have it refilled. So in the long run if you have to have your nitrous bottle refilled semi-often, you will eventually end up paying the same price with fill-ups included. But yea it's just a matter of what you prefer.
By philbrownell05 [Affiliate User] 1201377711 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis is true and you're right it's just a matter of opinion on how you get that speed whether it be Nitrous or forced induction or just keeping it N/A and building up the engine. So I respect your opinion. But for me forced induction is better. And in a way we were both right about NOS forcing more air into your cylinders. At first it is a liquid but once it hits a certain temperature it breaks down and becomes oxygen and the nitrous is pushed out the exhaust. I'm glad we can agree to disagree.
By philbrownell05 [Affiliate User] 1201377612 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWell your pritty much rite but... Noz isent that expensive and its easy to instal, Specialy if your is injected. A turbo or super charger dus the same but without the bottle that runs out. A Turbo or sup.charger costa way more on the other hand.
By Pigioto1 [Affiliate User] 1201355731 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYou are correct, it is stored as a liquid and the nozzle does its best to atomize the liquid when spraying it into the intake. This is your basic wet system. A dry system injects the nitrous through the fuel injectors. I totally respect your opinion on the use of nitrous. I am just the kind of person who doesn't care how I get more power out of my vehicle. I have a ailment and that ailment is speed. The only cure for speed is more speed.
By dlowrie290 [Affiliate User] 1201333734 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYea I try to keep it clean cause when you start talking nasty and cussing it just shows how immature people get. But yea, on a technical basis yes it does force more air into your cylinders. But am I wrong in saying that when it is sprayed into your cylinders it is in liquid form and only becomes air form when it vaporizes? Well I still think it is a little girls way out but then again like you said that is my opinion and we are at a crossroads when it comes to our opinions.
By philbrownell05 [Affiliate User] 1201322936 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveActually, Nitrous Oxide does force more air into the cylinders. You see, Nitrous Oxide becomes an unstable compound at about 525 Fahrenheit, at which point the oxygen molecules are released thereby increasing the amount of oxygen in the cylinder. The nitrogen molecules are not combustible by them selves and are expelled with the exhaust. BTW thanks for commenting back and keeping it clean. This is probably the most productive threads on Youtube.
By dlowrie290 [Affiliate User] 1201286842 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveAnd NOS doesn't force more air into your cylinders like forced induction it sprays the Nitrous Oxide into the cylinders and it burns faster than gasoline to make the cylinders move faster and work harder. So they don't even do the same thing except for force something into the cylinders, but a turbo/blower forces air into the cylinders whereas NOS sprays your cylinders with Nitrous Oxide.
By philbrownell05 [Affiliate User] 1201256609 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveBecause people don't take it to a place that does it professionally or they use it on an engine that is not capable of handling it. It is still for wussies. You can take both NOS and a turbo/blower to a professional shop to have it installed but a turbo you still have to tune unlike NOS. So Turbos are still the better thing to have if you're not a little girl.
By philbrownell05 [Affiliate User] 1201256493 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveAnd technically I think I was right in saying that N02 and blower/turbo's eventually do the same thing which is force more air into the engine. Other than that we are arguing opinion on whether or not N02 is for wussies.
