Opening music, which continues throughout portions of the movie. This is titled "Inventions For John" and was transfered from a United Artists vinyl LP Titled: Duck, You Sucker. Why they have it listed on side B is a mystery to me, because to my ears, this belongs at the beginning and I know parts are through at least when John wakes up after a nap in the "coach", lights a stick of dynamite while he is praying at the alter in the coach. I think this is my favorite piece, but I like all the tracks. Movie is known by: Giu' La Testa, Duck You Sucker, and A Fistful Of Dynamite Music is conducted and composed by Ennio Morricone (album is dated 1972 - unless my Roman numeral translation is wrong.)Warning: This is my first attempt at putting straight music on youtube and from Windows Movie Maker no less. Eek!

simply put: El Maestro. it does not get better than this..

Knocks it out of the ball park in about 8 or 9 ways:

    genius minimalism
    orchestration
    fascinating texture morphing
    hooks
    layering of characters' musical motifs
    use of studio
    one of a kind/novelty/pop aspect!
    gorgeous strings
    musical development
    moods...incredible

    PS
You've mistaken Morricone (composer) with Leone (director) but I'm sure You've noticed that by yourself already.

    two thumbs ups!
That was truly underestimated piece of film-art, can't understand why though... Of course I love 'man from nowhere' trilogy just like "Once upon a time in the West" but still it's the "Fistful of dynamite" that I'm AWED by.
...and as for that track it's just briliant.

Thank God that Morricone and Leone have met.

This was one of Morricone's less understood movies. I enjoyed it a lot actually. The score is top notch, the performances excellent thru-out, esp Rod Steiger as 'Juan' I thot he did a standout performance. Coburn is always good no matter what movie he was in, he rarely faltered.
