This song is amazing. I'm confident in saying that it saved me from ending it. I was feeling alone, cut off from everyone and felt like no one cared... was thinking of ending it all and then this popped up on yahoo videos and changed it all for me...

i thought about suicide a lot. Music and my clostes friend have saved me many times before. and we dont feel this way attention....

this song gets to me a lot, my cousin killed herself and when she did that it was 10 days before my 14th birthday, she was 16 and it hurt me a lot because she wanted to be with her sister that died, and when my cousin died i wanted to kill myself because i didnt find out until my 14th birthday and wow what a birthday present that was, this song makes me think of my cousin and how she should have held on, i miss her so much, now everytime i have suicidal thought i turn to this song it has helped

killinourown, you obviously have NO experiance with this whatsoever, the majority (not all) have a chemical imbalance in the brain called depression, yes, it's a mental thing, they can't control it. It isn't for attention, why would you want attention if you know you're gonna be gone? People who commit feel theres nothing left for them, they feel they're on their own, and they can't take it anymore.

everytime i have almost done it, i had flashes of the people who i would know miss me. but this song did change my mind, and even the video had a lot of influence of changing my mind. and thanks for being that one person.

I know it's hard, but please don't. My best friend killed herself, and there are days when I realize she's gone and just cry. There's nothing I can do to bring her back, and I'll never see her again :( Just think about all the people that will miss you. At least one person cares.

My fiancee(35) suicide in Jan '08 ..he was one of the stongest people I thought I knew.. I found him... mine and my kids' lives, his family's lives, my family,all of our friends.... we'll never be the same. He left the pain... left us to be in pain. A constant ache... we cant leave. We must "hold on". Sure wish he would have :( We could have helped if he had come... This song truly did help.
