my little brother has sickle cell all the pain are in the winter hes been in the hospital and sick most of his life but hes really healthy

I'm multi-cultural and I have alpha thalassemia. Is sickle cell anything related to that considering I'm more black than asian?

well i m italian and my two boys are sick my 5 year old has sickle cell ss and his father is black american and my 2 year old has thalssemia major and i have two other healthy boys its all over many people are etting this disease and the myth is you can out grow it im here to say you can not it is for lif euntil they find a cure or god cures this disease its horrible both diseases i spend all my time in the hospitals god bless al of you veronica

I do have sickle cell and u know its very hard to cope with it u get very bad pains it hurts alot and u cant stop it its very bad

because the short life span of the RBCc
which are important to complete the life cycle of the parasite ..

apprently if someone has sickle cell anemia theyre almost guarentied to never get maleria (i only read this im not sure)
