sarah chang also said she won't release a cd of bach until she is 30 or something. it might not be that she doesn't play it, she just doesn't perform it in public because she feels bach is very mature and personal and she wants to wait.

I think so. Sarah plays beautifully and flawlessly but I prefer Hilary Hahn for some reason. I think it is because Hilary plays alot of bach, so she knows not only how to be lyrical, but also play stylistically. I see Sarah as ajust lyrical. (Not enough off-the-bow for me). Never was a big fan of Sarah; I like Anne-Sophie Mutter.

I think it's all the matter of opinion. Chang will put passion into her music a way different than Hahn will, and it is unfair to be judging any two amazing musicians based on how they both shine through their performances.

A friend of mine said that she is inferior to Hillary Hahn in terms of musicality. Is there any truth to that statement?
