FLASH is a home-made, scratch built, custom <b>working model</b> roller coaster I built in about a week in March, 2008. The coaster train is made from HO scale trucks and hand cut styrene plastic. The track is made of poster board (though I don't recommend it, I usally use white styrene plastic as poster board warps with any humidity and the train will not make it around.)     I "sorta" have upstops. Each car has one train truck with 4 wheels to run on. Each car also has four wheel sets at 45 degrees to the side of each side of the track, which act as side friction and upstops both.

    For this model it was about 100.00. Just so you know, the coasterdynamix people are coming out with a new sit down looping model roller coaster that they say will be more affordable for more people...it'll be out at the end of summer, as for cost, I'm not sure. I'll be putting up a website towards the end of July with step by step instructions on making a model like this, and a more "economical" easier version.
