yeah, if apple didn't make OS X, I'd be using Linux because windows is total commercially whored out software

by layer of deceiving effects i think he means "just another OS" ;) as my Windows friend puts it.

there's nothing deceiving about it, go get Ubuntu or Fedora and try Linux for yourself.

Step 1) download and burn
Step 2) Put it in and set your pc name, date, time *gasp*
Step 3) configure your accounts for IM and your homepage in firefox, etc
step 4) laugh while you dont get spyware or viruses or any of that crap.

A poor os?

Seeing as Linux is based on unix, and OS X is based on Bsd (which is very similar to linux, and based on unix). How can Linux be much more poorer than mac osx.

umm maby for a computer with linux on it is that much but the operating system is free, no one owns it, it can be modified by anyone

mac is a proprietary os: it's a metter of philosofy! sure that i will never say to you "your os is S**t , stupid luser!" and this is the main difference between a mac and a gnu/linux user.

and I thought mac people were pretentious.
