it's pretty clear the song uses 2 adjectives.
'human' - free thinking individual
'dancer' - puppet of sorts, actions are controlled

one of the lyrics 'close your eyes, clear your heart, cut the cord', pretty much means take a min reevaluate your life. are you living your life or someone else's. if so break free 'cut the cord'

besides one word people can we agree that this song is an inspirational song and will be a hit for time to come

I personally think it sounds more like dancer, but of course denser would make more sense, given the lyrics of the rest of the song. I guess we'll have to hear it from the band to know...

Can everybody get over their own opinions? The lyrics are easily mistakable for "dancer" or "denser" so until the album with lyrics is released we won't know. For those posting "He says the lyrics were inspired by a disparaging comment made by Hunter S. Thompson about how America was raising a generation of dancers" that info is all over the web, it's called copy and paste. Where's the video with Brandon saying that and the quote from Thompson? Arguing about a word in a song is idiotic.

Denser makes has more meaning with the song. They are talking about exsitence and soul. Dancer is just dumb.
