The actual story begins when the main character Dart, a young adventurer, is saved from a dragon by a mysterious woman. She lets you know that your village, Seles, is burned down by soldiers. When you hear this you run towards Seles where you find out that your baby-sister girlfriend, Shana, is kidnapped. After you've kicked some soldiers' butt, you set trail to hellena Prison to save Shana.....this is just the beginning.

What is a dragoon?

Dragoons are people who obtain the soul of a dragon and those souls give the person the power of a dragon(probably...). when you begin the game, Dart doesn't know he already contains this dragonstone (he found it where his father died, but was too young to uderstand what it was....).When you do discover this soul, Rose gives you a few fighting lessons and you're ready to go. She also told you, that dragoons where used to fight the winglies (a species who supressed mankind 11000 years ago) during the dragon campaing( the last fight where dragoons won from the Winglies). Being a dragoon also allows you to use magic. According to your dragoonlevel, you will learn more and powerfull magic, which is very usefull in battles
