Supernatural: Dean Meets Castiel

Awesome scene. Now the lyrics to Carry On Wayward Son make much more sense with this nice plot twist. Plus you could tell right away after the line "I'm the one who gripped you tight and raised you from perdition." Let's hope they keep this guy around for the season; nice to have more good guys in the mix.

Misha Collins is a wonderful Castiel! He's got a great face!

In his line: You dont believe you deserve to be saved! -Castiel realizes that Deans lack of faith comes not from human pride and feelings of self-importance, but from Deans feelings of being unworthy, and Castiel begins to be drawn in by Dean. I loved Castiel's other-worldly detachment, business as usual, followed by a brief glimpse of a powerful angel beginning to care for the fragile human who is entrusted to his keeping.

When Castiel said he was an angel, it was the last thing I was expecting. I hope they keep his character and I hope he is a good guy, not one that is currently lying. I think he is good after the looks in his eyes when he is talking to Dean. I bet the work that God has for Dean ultimately and somehow comes down to Dean facing Sam. Great start to my favorite show.

I love those final lines. "Why'd you do it?" "Because God commanded it. Because we have work for you." And then Dean's like... "Huh?" When I first heard Dean was coming back I was thinking how cool it would be if an angel (Azrael in my theory) brought him back. But, Castiel (Angel of Solitude and Tears) is a good choice too. But damn! God ordered Dean be pulled out of Hell! AWESOME!

totally the dude is too hot!! I hope he keep this "Vessel" long enough.

Lol! You know I figured out Castiel was and angel by the name and the demon saying it was "The End", but yes, I too ADORE HIM! JEEZ! He better keep that 'vessel'. Because he looks so sweet, especially at 01.03, 3.05, and 03.53. Love castiel
