    I would have been very happy to have been able to get some sort of credit towards social security for the eight years I had to stay at home to care for my invalid father-in-law. I didn't need money for those years (although that would have been nice), but I would have liked to have had some credit toward social security for those years. And trust me, I really WORKED during those eight un-paid years.
