    Good lord that 'Body Language' ad was a bit risque for 1979.

    Mind you I always enjoyed watching the playtex 'cross your heart' advert as a lad, i cant think why!.

    I think at least some of these ads are from late 1979, when ITV had come back following its longest strike.

    Richard Briers voices for Weetaflakes, but then it wouldn't be the late 70s without *his* voice. It's definitely Tommy Vance voicing for the Ronco Record Vacuum, and I think it's him on the Flower Loom ad as well (though sounding most uncharacteristic if it is).

    When the Duracell ads were on and the voiceover said "No ordinary battery looks like it or lasts like it" I would finish it by saying "Or costs like it"
