Here is the famous commercial Budweiser produced after 9/11. They aired it only once -- during Super Bowl XXXVI in January 2002. This one-minute spot features the beer company's trademarked team of Clydesdale horses trudging across snow-covered ground into New York City where they stop to gaze upon the Statue of Liberty and the city's skyline before lowering their heads on bended knees in a gesture of respect.

  • I had never seen ...

I had never seen this commercial before until I received it in an email just yesterday. The tears are still running down my face.

Using the horses was such a brilliant idea. Animals are such sensitive creatures. I wouldnt be surprised if they actually understood the significance of it all.

Amazing, not a word spoken or a product advertised, yet this commercial goes right to the heart.

Thank you Budweiser for such a beautiful tribute to 9/11.

I think I've watched this at least 70 times and cry each time. It's the most beautuful, touching tribute. Such magnificent anumals, no words, no people, just the majestic Clydesdales honoring victims and heroes. I applaud whomever created the concept for this ad, may it never b e forgotten.

Seven years later, I still occasionally cry for the poor souls who were insinerated, crushed, or had to jump to their death. God bless them. Be thankful you werent faced with this at work, support the 100 year war on terrorism and and hug your family.
