I fully agree! Some people say that "Soviets invaded Hungary in 1956", but that´s wrong. The so-called Hungarian revolutionaries were in truth pro-fascists. I think that Khruschev did a big mistake when he removed M. Rakósi from Hungarian government, but the position of M. Suslov was right when he voted for the liberation of Budapest.

I admire the Soviet Army, but in my opinion, the greatest problem of Soviet and Russian Military is that they do not preserve the life of their soldiers, different from American Military. A Russian General does not care if 1k or 10k soldiers will lost their lifes to take a non important point, they just wanna occupate the non-important point.

Well, many of the Sovet units were tank formations consisting of obsolete T-70s and Churchills. It was the T-70s, already way obsolete at the time of the battle and no longer produced, that were faster but more lightly armoured and armed - they aimed to exploit weaknesses in the German machines' armour at close range. A series of disjointed engagements went on for much of the day with high losses on both sides (info: Wikipedia).

Well, not so fast. The Soviets claimed that Germans lost 180,000 dead and lost 1600 tanks versus 600,000 soldiers and 1500 tanks. As the Sovites were left in poccession of the battlefield after the counterattack, I tend to trust them more. Also, even 3:1 losses in terms of tanks (if real) are impressive as the Soviets mostly relied on medium T-34s versus a tank force of 2700 tanks with 200 Panthers, 270 tigers and 90 Elephants.

Here is an idea! If you do not want Russian soldier to R**e your womne - try NOT invading Russia in the first place. It is a wonder that the Russians did not exterminate the Germans and their lapdogs (Hungary, Romania and Austria) for the crimes they commited in Russia.

Now for some real facts: in the Winter War 1939-40, Finland lost about 27,000 soldiers, the USSR lost 127,000 soldiers. The Soviet forces did not fight very well there nd were slow to adapt to this kind of war. However, Finland forever lost 10% of its territory and 20% of its industrial capacity to the USSR.

Bullshit, show me that statistic. But don't show me history channel pro-nazis propaganda. Look in archives. Losses were approximately similiar.If ratio was 3:1 how could german ran away very quickly until they riched Dnepr river.Russian ground all major german forces there. During that batlle IL-2 also got new cumulative bombs.

That's bullshit. Look at statistics - at Kursk Germans lost about 150 tanks to about 400 Russian tanks. Even considering Russian mines and German Stukas it does not even come close to 3:1 ratio...

u gotta remember when this film was made & who made it .Of course the Russkies were low budget but still good action...not correct in detail by any stretch but not bad considering their budget

Soviet soldiers were good soldiers - their command was sh!t and that's it. Also you exagerated figures.
