Just a thought....the results were based on rats. Ever owned rats? They are incredibly prone to developing tumors no matter how well fed with quality "people food". I don't totally trust gov. studies that approve foods but you have to look at the subjects they use for results. If in doubt....use sugar, you have a choice.

who cares? we should! young children are at risk, as well as all of us! how can people honestly say that aspartame does not have risky side effects... research studies upon research studies have linked 92 side effects to it... yet the FDA, as usual, lags far behind! it will do nothing till law suits are filed like that of phenylpropanolamine (in weight control formulas) and bextra (prescription NSAID).

I do. I used aspartame and DID NOT KNOW it causes cancer. Had I known that, I would never have used it.

I don't use language like you do but if I did I would SAY EXACTLY the same thing.
But she LOOKS really healthy don't you think.
If that is health then I would rather continue without aspartame.
By the way ALL you guys out there - IT IS IN REGULAR DRINKS TOO not just diet. And not only in drinks like BEER it's in FOOD too.
Kick the processed food in the bin where it belongs and licve happier healthier lives.

Check all the gum. Regular not just the sugarless. It's in there. It's making people sick. I have to read labels on all I buy to make sure it's safe. They keep adding it to more items. Unless you read labels everytime you shop you don't know until it's to late. You get sick and then you have to go through all the cabinets and the fridge to see what needs to go in the trash because it contains poison! If I drank 2 diet sodas I would probably be in the morgue!
