Actually the best jet americans ever made was the rapter or the phantom I can't remeber but they had to stop useing them because the human body couldn't handle the stress of the plain...now the F/A 18 Super Hornets which go straight up in the air and are very monewverable, and fast I fly more than 1 plain....and actually it doesnt matter what the plain is and how monewverable it is it matters on how well you use it. Trust we have one of the best pilots in the world.

It would be nice to watch TopGun on Blueray. Although, the movie was made in 1986. But I think you can get a nice picture and sound out of it.

No, what I meant was if they install it so that the unit is not exposed to the elements. Say, like inside of the wing and using a fish eye lens, so that it would take a 180 degree video or picture and the whole unit would be inside the wing or tail section so it is not exposed to extreme conditions of weather and enviroment. You know what I mean. It is hard to explain it. However, I think it can be done.

Well it would make thing a hell alot easier but they normaly just do that for movies so the viewer can see, they don't do that because it can get caught on the engine and it would fall off because when up in the air you fly wicked fast so theres no chance it would stay on.

Wrong again. You can start the training when your 17 years old. 7 months test, 6 months ordinary military training, 12 months the f16 school in the USA and when you finished that 3/4 months training in Europe to get used to European conditions. So it will take something like 30 months, so if you start when you 17 you will fly a f16 before you get 20 ;)

Yes, that's the fly training. But what about the tests etc. It's impossible to fly that plane when you're 21 year old.

No, thats not true.. The training to fly a f16 takes 1,5 year..

Impossible, you're 21 years old. Before flying such a plane you must have more than 8 years of practice.

Why don't they install rear view cameras on the fighter jets ??? I mean instead of turning your head all the time they can install rear view cameras like in the movie FireFox and have a display in the front of the pilot.

Yes they do it's part of being in the military depending on if you're in the Air Force or the Navy. I fly them in the Ait Force.

I fly F16s in the Air Force.
