I think advice is great, but, I'd like to hear from someone who has actually experienced these problems before I subscribe to the idea that KB training can cause shoulder problems...or knee or back or anything else for that matter.

That unlike to gym work they dont damage your shoulders, since your shoulders are locked all the way through the excersise in the sockets, so they cannot be damaged.
I've experienced this myself, after a usual gym workout, I used to feel my shoulders but now, with the kettlebell workout, I dont feel anything bad with my shoulders, rather it fixes the shoulders

With dumbells, the weight is evenly distributed on both sides of your hands. With kettlebells, its like swinging a cast iron bowling ball with a suitcase handle. It forces you to use a lot more stabilizer muscles, and a big gain in your grip strength.
