Madonna in 'Dangerous Game' (1993)

I believe in her acting prowess, too. She just needs a new material. Perhaps, she can break away from the album release-then-tour routine with the release of a great new film like Evita, A League of their Own, Dick Tracy or Desperately Seeking Susan.

Umm, no. In Madonna's debut feature "Desperately Seeking Susan" she received critical acclaim for her role. She stole the spotlight from Rosanna Arquette, it was essentially meant to be her movie, but Madonna hijacked it.

I´m totally agree with u, she is also a very good actress, but unfortunately she has been doing bad roles. But she also won a golden globe for Evita, that one was her only good role.

It's not hard to admit when she's good, but FAR from truly great -- this is her best (in fact only good one) along with Evita, DSS and ALOTO, the latter supporting roles and every one not a big stretch and variations on her own persona. Dangerous Game is a pretty terrible film and she said she felt as if the director had kicked her in the stomach. May be because there's a scene where she describes being raped -- which happened to her in real life.

Where did you get the script? I just found that review interesting, it seems to fit -- before he calls her a commercial POS, she's deadpan as ever, looks confused and rapidly blinks before delivering her lines well. Besides, she trashed the film afterward and the director slated her so that probably was what he thought of her as an actress. And others commented that she hated his style of directing -- i.e. it included adlibbing.

What a way to spread misinformation! Actually, this exact scene as written, is in the original Snake Eyes script - no adlibbing. Is it really that hard to admit that she was actually good for once?

That is so raw and good because she's not really acting. Read the review on Imdb, the reason she's good here is because she doesn't realise the camera is on her - she's being made to adlib and deliver her lines well after Keitel insults her, like he said he only needs her money, and she did finance the film, it was made by Maverick.
