From Gandhi (1982) is a biographical film about Mohandas ("Mahatma") Gandhi, who was a leader of the nonviolent resistance movement against British colonial rule in India during the first half of the 20th century. The film was directed by Richard Attenborough and stars Ben Kingsley as Gandhi; both won Academy Awards for their work on the film. The film was also given the Academy Award for Best Picture

    we would if we had a country but obviously they're torturing us at this minute still. active...how do we become active against a country with over 1 billion people and a ruthless army that would kill their own people? at least we're still at non violence. gandhi did it. china is being hated by many in these past years because of that. only reason usa likes china is cuz we rely on them to do our cheap ass factory work and i need their communist asses to make my nike shoes

    tibet is not china and they should not do such wrongs. why don't u tibets start a being active against the chinese. Start enacting extradition laws in your country, so that your government will have a say in the court of another country. (this is not usually done: the reality is that where the person is when the offence was committed, there he shall be tried and convicted) but if cases such as these are happening, a violation of the universal declaration of human rights is occurring!!!
