my buddy robert laughlin.grandson to don..we were up waiting for him to come in late that night at the hotel to party when he got in..never met him so i was buzzing...then shocked when rob told us..we drove out there to the stateline of cali and az where that dumbass kid slamed head-on into sam.just a fucked up car still in the road...poor lighting on the road..plus the bend in the road and pavement when jankie back int the day..real unsafe to drive at night..20 mins away the hotel.

For someone so intent on being factual you couldn't be more wrong. First off, Sam was married a few days before the crash. Second off, only Sam was killed. Thirdly, he was hit by a drunk driver who was within the legal range but was still underage. According to the linked site, Sam was sober.

No way, absolutely no way this goes out on an 1130 show today. Brilliant set. And Kinison was past his prime at this point. In the late 80s/early 90s, we had Kinison and Bill Hicks. Now we got Carlos Mencia and Dane friggin Cook. Goddammit....

All I can say is if Screaming Sam was alive today what would he be thinking of Bush Jr. and his administration.
