Tammi0 - My Webster's dictionary defines 'miracle' as : "In theology, an event or effect that apparently contradicts known scientific laws and is hence thought to be due to supernatural causes, especially to an act of God".

Tammi0 - I don't have a problem with religious people saying 'God's name is in everything'.

What I don't like is when people call the everyday, random statistical natural events and formations as 'miracles'.

A 'miracle' is something that defies the Laws of physics and Laws found in Nature.

These are simple natural phenomena, and quite frankly, if I were an intelligent Muslim, I'd be insulted to have had these patterns termed 'miracles'.

Instead, call them 'reminders of God's presence'.

you strain to see gods name on a leaf, ull see it! Jesus was seen in clouds before! so was a Buddah! this is our miracle n no ones telling u 2 insult our religion, or believe this.

in our religion, we do believe seeing gods name in nature is a blessing- a miracle. in islam, it is told 2 b a wise one, but visualise as a child- let me elaborate

u look at the sky. the clouds have wierd shapes. if you just strain a little harder u will easily pull out gods name!

And full marks to you for giving everyone the perfect reason to drop their religion - yes, it DOES cause massive problems. 10/10 for that one.
Which is why I'm not religious. Rationality is my "religion". Even though there might exist a "god", "Allah" or the concept of a higher power, that is NOT the problem...religion is.
As a result, I'm at peace with myself.
