    Good grief Joe! I wouldn't give you bad info.. That lawnmower you're looking at was bought in 1987. The deck is not rusted through thanks to the motor oil trick and a once-a-year wireburshing. Cheers. David

    im not sure about the used motor oil trick. It should be somewhat acidic and I'm not sure if it would do more harm than good to the deck.

    well try holding the blade with your hand when they were put on super tight with a impact at the factory. sometimes you need to use a block of wood and a cheater bar.
