    Not nessecarily. Some rear crashes are caused when a car makes a sudden stop and the car behind them doesn't have enough time to hit the brakes.

    i had a 7.5 tonne truck like this one hit me in a nova saloon i have always bought saloons for ths very reason most hachbacks and mpv's have the seat way too close to the back window, the trouble is how many saloons do you see nowadays !
