This is a step by step tutorial of how to create a Memory Card Exploit (MCE). You can use MCE to launch homebrew, install program, store mp3's, PS2 files, and boot HDD using HDLoader or HDAdvance. ***Note*** This will and I said will ONLY work for the Phat Version PS2. Will NOT work on the slim.

If you followed the tutorial and successfully created MCE, but cannot boot HDD, there may be some sort of Network Adaptor and/or Hard Drive capability issue. Not all Network Adaptor work with all HDD. Make sure your HDD and/or Adaptor is compatible.

One known HDD brand that's not compatible with the Network Adaptor is Western Digital. The back part of the WD drive will not fit with the Adaptor.

    You can do it that way as well. My way is the least complicated, but if you use a MAX USB, you'll also need the ARMAX disc to transfer files from USB to memory card. And make sure you transfer it to the right directory or else the PS2 will not find iut's path. Then on top of that, you'll need a Japanese game to be used as a trigger disc (because JAP console will not read NTSC (USA/CAN) disc, and vice versa.

    Like it says in my video. Create and configure the exploit, burn it onto a blank CD, and install it on your PS2 by using a PS2 capable of boot up backups. Whether by swap magic, modchip, topless boot, etc..
