a teacher I worked with had an ancester die at the Andersonville prison camp. We had a confederate prison camp at Rock Island arsenal and there is a big cemetery for those who did not survive.

john brown was the man .. he ruled. would have been awesome to meet him.

Of course I am interested in history and the civil war, but as a german not really involved. I Found all oics in the internet and cannot tell which graveyard is shown. The reenactors are quite sure americans, as in Germany there is nothing alike (except some medieval or napolenic reeanactors)
