    The DUST from the laundry soap is not good to breathe in. There is no lingering odor from the soap that remains in the clothes. As a matter of fact clothing washed in this laundry soap tend to have NO smell.

    Much in the same way that you wouldn't want to breathe flour dust in (say if someone dropped a bag of flour on the floor and it puffed up in the air) and yet it is fine to eat flour. Some things just aren't meant to go directly into your lungs in particulate form.

    Some folks have asked what laundry soap I use in this recipe. I have used both Octagon and Fels Naptha. If you can't find laundry soap in your area, you might try at an international market. Sometimes they will carry it when the local grocery stores/big box stores don't.
