I also lived in Edmonton -- the oilers/oilkings?? were great -- saw a woman in the audience get hit in the mouth w/the puck -- had my first love at age 10 up there.     Maybe you were the one who jump started my Firebird at the Connecticut Post Center. jk Remember when the Nighthawks played Springfield, Rochester and Binghamton. Also, my brother was a sound engineer for touring bands, so I always went to the colliseum or other relatively local venues whenever he worked there. I also miss the Whalers and haven't been to the Civic Center or whatever it's called now, since they left. Now I have to go to NYC for hockey and the Casinos for rock concerts.

    Stop and think of how many Rock bands had a flute besides J. Tull? MTB made it beautiful and I loved WAR! This is as Southern as I think it gets,along with ABB and Skynyrd. Takes me back to a beautiful memory- ahhhhh!
