I did think about these things, but imagine if the USSR had won the war, bombed American cities and then invaded a lot of countries later on. Same scenario as America. Then America would win, and you can bet that the current congress of that country would be held responsible.

if memory serves, WWI and WWII were not caused by America. the use of the atomic weapons over Japan were horrible, but how many wuld hav died, on both sides, if ther was a conventional invasion. just taking the island bases were hard. how many Americans would have died if we invade. these were what was going thru Truman's mind. we did warn them, but understandably they did not believe us. no country is truly innocent, we all hav done things. it is sad wat happened, but the past cant be changed
