to make it better, but up the strike patches into thirds and put them into the balls, also duct tape the ball alot. It'll blow up then making a huge explosion. Way cooler.

Have you tried dipping, or lathering the balls in gasoline? It might be a bigger fireball.

you can also mix in a bit of sulfur dust with the safety matches but that makes it really unstable (it can light if you drop it)
