this can't be real, they didn't even wear the right respirators. this is why advance auto doesn't do body work. This looks like a Progressive auto ins. approved repair...haha

Your time 5 hours, plus time and travel.. to "shitty auto parts" 300.00 in supplies from them, plus it looks like S**t whats your time worth?

That was a shady job, he shoulda heated the surface up first with a hairdryer, and gave it more than 1 coat. He shoulda painted the whole rear bumper/fender. I would not paint it outside as the wind could potentially blow dust/insects or other shite onto it and you would have to start rubbing down again. This is an example of what you might do if you have bought a dog of a motor at a car auction, regret it and don't care who you sell it on to.

LOL ...........NOT! Metallics are some of the most difficult to make look uniform. Don't be fooled. The silver they used on this "repair" looks like tin foil.

I agree......been in the business for 25+ years and this method is a waste of time and money. I guess if you had an old car that you were going to sell immediately afterwards this would be "ok".

That is NOT the way to do it. That will last about 3 months tops, and the paint will peel right off. That is why you pay the extra money to do it right! Wearing those dust mask just shortened their life by 10 years, ALWAYS wear a industrial resperator. I know this as I have done paint and body for more than 20 years. If you want to save a buck and ruin your car then this is the best video for you...

yeah its pretty expensive out there and usualy shitty jobs. slap some filler on there and paint it.

not realy. the act of spraying it partialy drys it in air. you lay it on thin enough for it dry quicker. but primer usualy you want to give it 24 hours to cure fully if you are going to sand on it.

yeah lets use a partical mask when we should use a resperator.
