The ironic thing is, we had it even without the second vault, though it would have been a very anticlimactic win.

I was only 4 when this happened, so obviously I don't remember it. But my mom remembers clear as day and showed this to me, and I'm in awe. The springboard hurts if you don't hit it right, and to do it with a sprained ankle? God...This is absolutely incredible.

OMG..I watched it live.. and I still get emotional all over again watching that. It was seriously (LITERALLY) the only moment in my life i was proud to be an american. Awesome... The Dream team was irreplaceable!

I'll never forget this moment, I remember watching this when I was 10 and being in awe. It is still really powerful when you look back on it now.

best olympic moment ever! haha I was 12 when I watched this and it feels like just yesterday!

haha my friends and I become obsessed with gymnastics after that and knew everything about the team! We had recorded it that night and would watch it over and over and did all their routines!
