It was a bit silly, yeah, especially with the old forklift, but it was also making a very strong point about transporting narrow things. this lift has a versatility that can't compare to forklifts, but the comparison will be made anyway because they look similar.

And I suspect that demo was meant to be humorous (which is was). "Oh jeez, I wonder if this ten foot door is big enough for this 40 foot load? oh, it's not? I'll just keep going in anyway!! durrrr" hahahaha

I have the pleasure of being a forklift operator and this is the first time I've seen this sort of vehicle in use. It is actually quite awesome.
