  • youre right, JPW is ...

youre right, JPW is very inaccurate (star jackson wont see the field this year).
but when he has good receivers, (DJ Hall, Julio Jones) they adjust to his inaccuracies and usually come down with it.
Also, an interview in sporting news with a Chicago Bears talent scout viewing Bama's practice said, and i quote, "(Julio Jones) reminds me of Randy Moss. [...] (Julio Jones) could play for us right now."

  • im a huge JPW ...

im a huge JPW basher, but that was an excellent pass.
he threw it about 5 yards short, and about 10 yards to the right of his intended target (the number 30 on the field).
but getting that close, while on the run, 40 yards away, is verrry tough.

  • jay, i agree about ...

jay, i agree about the randy moss situation and i think first year receivers do well sometimes. i do not think the situation is right for julio. JPW is not a great qb. i know that, you know that. i think he is so hyped he will get so much defensive attention, that it may open up some other receivers. all im saying is dont count the chicken before they hatch. so many people see him as the "savior" of alabama football. but hye, just one man's opinion and if im wrong, ill be the first to admit it.

  • julio jones is a ...

julio jones is a good receiver. the guy will most likely be a playmaker for alabama. but the problem is you gotta have a quarterback to throw to that receiver and with JPW and star jackson taking that role, i doubt we will see it. julio jones will be as much of a savior as nick saban was his first year. the guy is good and will do things in time, but for now, doubt it. good catch but get over it. he and star jackson are not gonna bring bama back.

Okay KriegerDesHasses. Sure kid. You must be one of the Auburn fans that beleives Bama will never win against Auburn ever again. I bet you believe Auburn will go 100-0 against Bama. How can you say Bama "S**ks "? It was Sabans first year and 7 wins in a first year isn't bad. How is what you said a "fact"??? Please tell me.

Nothing going on anywhere else but the BAMA boards. Now that is what I like to see. Envy, jealousy, and sorry third grade trash talk. You know you have the haters hook, line, and sinker when they come on here and run it like a high schooler who has just been bitch slapped.

Well scginda803, he might get more yards, but that's because Saban wants to open the passing game to all receivers. We'll see what happens. Good luck.

  • He's a freshman ...

He's a freshman doing that. SECorBust, did you see that he got passed Rashad Johnson for the TD. Rashad is a Junior or Senior and Julio is only a freshman. Come on, when a freshman shows up a seasoned player, he means buisness. Anyway, I can't wait for the Bama vs Clemson game. I bet it will be a close one. If we beat Clemson (a very good team) we will have a great season.

"cool daddy"... gay name by the way, but even though we tripled him, we still didnt stop him and ur comment is confusing. remember the name mark ingram. bama freshman this year, he had over 400 yrds and 5 Td's in a few of his highschool games last year.

  • It kind of looks ...

It kind of looks like Julio caught it one handed and pushed the DB to the ground, but I think that he just fell. Is that # 24? That's the guy that Saban chastizes in under the lights and other practice clips that I've seen.

  • Our guys couldn't ...

Our guys couldn't stop him and they knew exactly what he's capable of. If you double him it will just open up something else. If you base your game plan off of one clip of a freshman receiver then you've got bigger problems. Some teams like to just give the opposition more to think about and let this sort of thing out.
