Oh my God you're so lucky!!! Meeting Elvis and the Jordaners, in the 50's!! That's decades before I was born, but I love everything about the 50's,especially its artists. I'd do anything to go back in the past for a few moments and have that same experience!!

Yes, he was alone in the booth. My friend and I sat across from him and talked with him. Heartbreak Hotel was new at that time.

I'm 65 now so I was 12 or 13 when he hit the scene, I can't remember if it was summer of '55 or '56. His first national hit, Heartbreak Hotel, was winter of '56. Was he alone in the booth?

I know, seems incredible but true. I am 68 now and have this memory.His back up singers the Jordaners were sitting in a booth behind him. Thank you for reading my little story.

I tell you, imagining you going into that restaurant and seeing him let alone meeting and talking with him in the mid '50's is incredible.

I grew up in the 50s and was always an Elvis fan. I had the opertunity to see him in person at the Vetrans Memmorial Auditoriam in Des Moines Iowa. After the show some girls told me and a couple buddies that he was at the Italian Villa resturant so we went there and met him and the Jordaniers. I also got him to sign an extended play album and a program which were later stolen.

Since I was born in 1963 I love seeing the early Elvis. Great job. But then I love seeing Elvis at any age.
