  • there are ALWAYS ...

    there are ALWAYS pathfinders on the ground before an airborne op. SEALs wernt the pathfinders though. it was the combat controllers. thats thier job, pathfinding. SF and CCT were the first ones on the ground in afghanistan. SEALs came late. anyways, look back to world war 2, pathfinders were there in normandy before the main airborne elements. its always like that

    i was always told that the dropzone was already secured by sf, a seal team, and airforce combat controllers just as was the dz for the 173rd in 2002.
