Indonesian Language 101

Yeah, I'm sure it does. I also like the idea of generalizing a whole nation of people that have diverse customs and beliefs. I never claimed to liking its politics, in fact the majority of Indonesians hate it as well. Unlike you I don't feed on the negative hatred, I like to think that there's good in everyone. Indonesia is a relatively young nation; hopefully they'll learn to deal with their problems.

No one wants to insult, the facts and history speak for themselves.

Say something I didn't know, if the government steals from their own people I'm sure they'll be willing to mess with foreigners. I already knew the government was corrupt and in many ways I feel horrible. I'm done talking to you; it'll lead to insults and a bunch of other bad thoughts.

Thanks but the bad things about Indonesia are enough to stop me from visiting there. But how about foreigner to invest in Indonesia?

You could always watch the news and hear bad things; the same thing applies here in the U.S also. Yes, I know about the Indonesian revolution, and I've known about poverty rate, but that isn't something that should be looked at in the long run. Indonesia has a beautiful culture with extremely nice people, if you're only looking at it from a news point of view how are you going to understand it? Yes, they're VERY cultural.

That's propaganda, if you've visited any Indonesian blog or read anything about the people and culture it isn't very violent. It really depends on where you are. I've recently visited this blog called EatingAsia and these people weren't killed, obviously. Type it in google. In fact I'd love to visit the place. Besides, Indonesian Islam is actually more cultural and is influenced by many beliefs.

who the heck want to visit Indonesia? It's not a safe place to be there. Especially Christian. Muslims there beheaded 3 Christian teenage girls and the muslims not sentenced to death of even jailed, It's lawless in Indonesia.

-mostly patriachal, but we have certain part of indonesia still matriachal (i think in minang, or minangkabau people)
