    True, but Mufasa's definitely the most memorable death of a disney character on screen so it's probably quite easy to just remember Mufasa and forget about the other deaths of Disney characters.

    I swear they're wrong about Mufasa being the only Disney character to die on-screen. He was the first, but I think Kokowum (sp?) in Pocahontas also died onscreen. Gaston, Frollo and a fewothers had the long fal treatment
